I just got back from Christmas shopping at the mall. My God, what a mess! Once you get through the traffic and are lucky enought to find a parking space I made it to the stores. Once inside the stores I wanted to turn around and leave. I was looking for a coat for my wife and the entire department was just a complete mess. People had taken coats off the hangers and jsut thrown them on top or the racks or just dropped them on the floor when they were through. The lines were long and the cashiers were very rude. The entire scene jsut took the holiday spirit right away. I did get it back though shortly after leaving the mall and putting on some Christmas tunes. Try to keep it under control people!!!!!
I live in the city of Philadelphia and would like to move as soon as possible. This place is turning into one scarey city to live in. The murder rate has climbed in the last few years and the bad guys are not afraid to shoot anything that moves including police officers and children. We recently buried a police offficer who was shot in the head while geting a cup of coffee not knowing he was walking in on a hold up. There is just too much violence in this area and it doesn’t look like it will change any time soon. HELP!!!

The Flyers return home tonight to play the Dallas Stars. I hoping the team can put up the same effort they had in their 6-0 streak at the beginning ot the season at home. They are 0-4 since and have less than enthusiastic performances.I went down to see their last home win against Pittsburgh a few weeks ago and they haven’t won since. I have a cousin who is stationed in Iraq. He has been there for the last 16 months and we miss him very much. I just purchased a calling card from international phone cards so that my cousin can call us not only on Christmas day but any time he ahs the chance. The cost of an overseas call can be expensive but we will be saving 3% with each phone card we purchase. That will allow us to talk to him even longer than before. If you have a loved one overseas for the holiday season I suggest you purchase an international phone card. It is the perfect gift.
The Eagles are home for a game against Seattle tomorrow. Look for A.J. Feeley to start at quarterback for the injured Donovan McNabb. The offense ran very well last week in the loss to New England. A.J. can do a fine job if he is given time in the pocket. The Seahawks are one of the top pass defenses in the league so it should be a good game. Look for the Eagles to win a tight one.
